The Conductive Core Matrix changes resistance to allow the heater to generate more heat when cold, and less heat when hot. The rating of 8 watts/foot is the output of the cable at 50°F. This feature, is ideal for freeze protection while the ambient is cold, and yet not overheat the object when the ambient climbs higher temperatures.

Minimum install temperature: -30°F (-34°C)

Maximum use temperature: 150°F (65°C)
