Description
Tek-Rod® Heating elements are completely assembled and ready to use metal sheath heaters. The small diameter tubular shape is easy to form around tubing, valves and other hard to heat geometries, to provide a waterproof, corrosion resistant, electric heat source. Tek-Rod® elements are available in medium or high watt density, in 120V and 240V fixed lengths. The two high temperature lead wires are conveniently located on one end. A six inch long, one half inch diameter welded transition terminates the heated length and provides an epoxy seal exit for the flexible, 24-inch leads.
