description
Our industrial heating tapes are ideal for applications where temperature requirements go beyond the capabilities of standard issue cables and tapes. Able to withstand exceedingly high temperatures of up to 1400°F/ 760°C, they can be customized by width and length according to your needs. Made of a multiple strand, nickel alloy conductor covered in AMOX™ Fiberglass Heavy Insulation, they’re remarkably durable and able to support industrial style heating at 120 or 240 Volts.

AWD Duo-Tapes® & AWM Mono-Tapes™ Industrial and High Temperature
AWD Duo-Tapes® and AWH Mono-Tapes® are heating tapes that have been specifically designed for industrial use – such as vacuum bake-outs, exhaust gas sampling and hot melt transfer pipes. These heating tapes work well for those applications that require a helping hand. When the temperature requirements exceed the capabilities of the elastomeric heating element, AWD and AWH heating tapes will allow for the temperature requirements to be met safely and efficiently. AWD and AWM heating tapes are offered as both single and double Duo-Tapes®. These heavy industrial tapes are meant to be used in high-temperature applications, and have been constructed to incorporate stranded, Ni alloy wire, braided with AMOX™ yarn, giving it additional resilience. These heating tapes are constructed specifically to minimize thermal shock and tensile stress through the particular way in which the tape is knitted – namely a serpentine pattern created with multi-strand resistance wire. AWD and AWH Heating Tapes are ideal for industrial applications such as vacuum bake-out, exhaust gas sampling and hot melt transfer pipes, where temperature requirements exceed the capabilities of elastomeric heating element. More information about construction is found on the “Assembly Configuration” panel. HTS/Amptek® developed this line of heaters to be similar to our higher watt density Laboratory Duo-Tapes® and Mono-Tapes™, but this line offers longer lengths, longer lead wires, and more rugged lead wire terminations. For more information about this tape’s construction, visit the “Assembly Configuration” panel or contact us today. (Two-wire Duo-Tape® element shown.)
