Bulb & capillary thermostats, electronic temperature switches, and mechanical thermal switches for simple, dependable regulation.
Controls & Accessories
Mechanical and electronic temperature switching devices cover the applications that don't need a full PID controller. From the plug-and-play ATS-12r electronic switch to hazardous-location bulb and capillary thermostats, HTS/Amptek® supplies a complete list of thermostats and similar mechanisms — and we're happy to help you select the ideal device for your needs.
The Range
Digital LED display with 3-button touchpad, thermistor sensor, and no wiring required — plug it into an outlet and plug the heater into the control. Switches 12A at 120VAC or 10A at 208/240VAC; heat or cool function; NEMA 1 case mounts to wall or DIN rail.
Heat-trace thermostats in durable enclosures for exterior use in hazardous and non-hazardous environments. The 10ft stainless steel capillary bulb mounts against the pipe or vessel, or within the insulation or heating jacket. Rated NEMA 4, 4X, and 7 — up to 22 amps at 120 to 480 VAC.
Disc type for higher amp loads and positive snap action, or reed type for close differentials and small areas. Wire in series for redundancy or temperature offset; normally-open or normally-closed for heating, cooling, or limit function.
Switches may be potted for moisture protection, and custom lead wire lengths and configurations may be specified for your specific need. Call HTS/Amptek® for standard or special design recommendations.
