ARS-12r Temperature Switch

ATS - 12r Electronic Temperature Switch with Thermistor Sensor.

The ATS-12r can regulate your heater from -30° to 212°F (-34° to 100°C) and is available in 120 and 240VAC models. With no wiring required, it is very easy to use, simply plug it into an outlet and plug the heater into the control. The display is digital LED, and may be setup and adjusted using the 3 button touchpad. The durable, NEMA 1 high-impact plastic case may be mounted directly to the wall, or convenient DIN rail. (DIN rail not included)

The ATS-12r Control will switch (resistive load) 12 amps, 120VAC, or 10 amps at 208 or 240 VAC. The control function may be set to heat or cool.

Temperature may be displayed in °F or °C. Differential may be adjusted from 1 to 30 Degrees. Electrical Cords are 6 ft (1.8m) for power supply with plug, and with receptacle for heater quick connect. The sensor cable is 6.6 ft (2m) long.

Thermostat, NEMA 4, NEMA 7

LC-Z-240 Triac Controller, 0% to 100% adjustable heater power.

NEMA 4 & 7 Thermostat Enclosures

These heat trace, bulb & capillary thermostats include durable enclosures for exterior use in both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous environments. Equipped with a 10ft stainless steel capillary, the bulb can be places against the pipe/vessel, or within the insulation or heating jacket. The material volume within the bulb is sensitive to temperature changes allowing operation of a switch within the enclosure.

Set point is adjusted (°F or °C) by rotating an exposed drum protected by a removable cap. Enclosures are rated for NEMA 4, 4X, and 7. All wiring connections are transitioned via rigid or flex conduit. These controls have a maximum load capacity of 22 amps at 120 to 480 VAC.

Thermal Switches

Mechanical Thermal-Switches, Disc or Reed Type

Mechanical switches are available in two configurations, "Disc" for higher amp loads and positive snap, and "Reed" type for close differentials and small areas. Thermal Switches may be wired in series to achieve redundancy or to establish a temperature off-set. "Normally-open" or "normally closed" configurations are convenient for heating, cooling or "limit" function.

Switches may be "potted" for areas that need moisture protection. Custom lead wire lengths and configurations may be specified for your specific need. Call HTS/Amptek for standard or special design recommendations.
